چکیده
(Fe100-xVx)75P15C10 (x=0, 5, 10 and 15) semiamorphous alloys were prepared by the melt spinning technique and their structural, thermal and magnetic properties were investigated. The structure of the alloys was studied by X-ray diffraction (XRD) for annealing temperatures of 400 oC to 650 oC within a 30 minute annealing time. The XRD patterns show that the samples contain a BCC structure for temperatures between 400 oC to 450 oC and a hexagonal structure for the temperatures between 500 oC to 650 oC. The lattice parameter of the BCC structure changes from 2.854 to 2.870 Å with the temperature. The lattice parameters a and c for the hexagonal structure are (5.0115.045) Å and (13.676-13.822) Å, respectively. The grain size is found to vary from 10 to 60 nm. The recrystallization temperatures of the amorphous phase volume and weight changes were measured by differential thermal analysis (DTA) and thermo gravimetry (TG), respectively. The saturation magnetization gradually decreases with the increase of the substitution of Fe by V at room temperature (RT). Index Term-Amorphous alloys; Recrystallization; XRD; DTA; Magnetization

TRANSPORT AND MAGNETIC PROPERTIES OF (Fe100-xVx)75 P15C10 AMORPHOUS ALLOYS
(Fe100-xVx)75P15C10 (x = 0, 5, 10 and 15) amorphous alloys in the form of ribbon were prepared by the standard melt spinning technique and studied their transport and magnetic properties. The resistivity follows ‘Mooij correlation’ at low temperature (300 93) K. The Hall resistivity and the magnetoresistance (MR) were measured in an applied magnetic field up to 0.6T at room temperature (RT = 30...
متن کاملساختار و خواص مغناطیسی آلیاژهای CoFeSiB انجماد سریع یافته
The effects of metalloids Si(4-27 at%) and B(5-22 at%) on the structure and magnetic properties of melt spun cobalt based alloys containing 5at% Fe have been studied. XRD results revealed that in non-eutectic ternary CoFeSi and CoFeB alloys, the additions of Si or B, alone can not lead to full amorphization of melt spun ribbons. In quaternary CoFeSiB alloys, the total amounts of Si and B additi...
متن کاملA Mössbauer spectroscopy and neutron diffraction study of magnetostrictive, melt-spun Fe-Ga alloy ribbons
Ribbons of Fe100−xGax (x = 15, 17.5, 19.5 and 22.5) were prepared by rapid solidification from the melt. Fe Mössbauer spectroscopy and high resolution neutron diffraction have revealed that Fe100xGax alloys with x = 15 and 17.5 have the disordered bcc (A2) structure even after annealing, but the alloy with x = 19.5 developed the short-range ordered D03 phase when annealed. The x = 22.5 alloys s...
متن کاملThe Structure and Magnetic Properties of Co77Zr18W5 Melt-Spun Ribbons
Based on X-ray diffraction, microscopic and magnetic analysis, the structure and magnetic properties of Co77Zr18W5 melt-spun ribbons were studied in this paper. A new element to stabilize the metastable Co5Zr phase was found and the coercivity observed in Co-Zr alloys can be obviously enhanced by proper tungsten substitution. The Curie temperature of Co77Zr18W5 ribbons is 475 ̊C which suggests t...
متن کاملCOERCIVITY MECHANISM OF MELT-SPUN Sm(Fel1Ti)
Hysteresis loops of randomly oriented grains with uniaxial anisotropy were computed on the basis of an array of 27 Wigner Seitz cells representing crystallites which interact by exchange coupling at the grain boundaries. The computed coercivity increases linearly with increasing interatomic exchange. Using the experimental anisotropy and exchange parameters for Sm(FellTi), we found 1.lo&=1.2 T ...
